Nest Box Babies
All year round the Wrisdale family volunteer to keep an eye on the birds at Stanwick Lakes – monitoring them so we can find out which birds visit, which are resident, and which breed on the site. Find out how many chicks successfully fledged from our nest boxes this year.
NEW Needle Felting Workshops at Stanwick Lakes
Needle Felting is the art of sculpting wool into shapes with the use of a single barbed needle and at Stanwick Lakes, we are lucky enough to have two NEW Needle Felt workshop leaders for 2019.
On the Write Path
On Thursday 27th September, Liz Evans led the first ‘On the Write Path’ workshop at Stanwick Lakes. These sessions use observations of the natural environment through the seasons to create short pieces of expressive writing. The theme this month was water and the River Nene’s journey through Stanwick Lakes.
